Our Farr 40 Racing Team are almost always on the move, competing on tours throughout Europe, the US, and Australia. The Farr 40 News pages are constantly updated so stay tuned for racing news!

Where does the name Kokomo come from? - It's origins reach back to the beginning of Lang Walkers sailing career. At the age of 9, Lang was given a 'Manly Jr' dinghy named Kokomo. The name stuck and to date, all of Lang’s boats have been named Kokomo. Contrary to popular belief, Kokomo was not derived from the Kokomo wetlands in the U.S. or the Kokomo bird in New Guinea, or the Beach Boy's song Kokomo.

Be sure to check back regularly for updated news, photos and google earth feeds. If you have any questions or feedback relating to the Kokomo website feel free to contact us.

Rolex Farr 40 Worlds 2009 - KEEPING CLEAN
Porto Cervo put on one of the feasts for which it is famous in the sailing world. A cobalt blue sky as an antipasti, solid warm breeze for the primi piatti, decent waves for the secondi and the dolce were three excellent races. All on day one of the Rolex Farr 40 World Championship 2009.
